The Octagon is looking to recruit the following role:

Front of House Manager - Maternity Cover - (Fixed Term) up to £19,621
Full time - 161 hours per month
Unsocial Hours Allowance is Payable

The principal role of the Front of House Manager is to manage all the public areas of the theatre during performances and to ensure that the standard of service offered by our Front of House team to our customers and visiting companies is consistently high.  You will be responsible for supervising our Bar and Café Bar staff as well as our loyal team of volunteers.  You will also be responsible for customer safety during their visit to the theatre.

You should enjoy meeting new people, be committed to customer care and possess good leadership skills.  Hours of work are principally from mid-afternoon until the end of the performance (approximately 11pm) four times per week and one day per week working office hours.  However the need for flexible working is essential.
