Prelude Bistro

As well as our stunning shows, The Octagon Theatre is home to a fine Bistro and Bar, named 'Prelude' where you will find a cosy and relaxing atmosphere and you can enjoy good home cooked food to begin your perfect evening at the theatre. Prelude is just a short walk from your seats and offers a charming dining experience with fresh menus and a tempting wine list. Our menu is adapted for each show and takes advantage of seasonal produce. Wherever possible we source our produce from local suppliers. Prelude is open from 5.45pm for evening performances and 12pm for matinees, and is the ideal place to meet up with friends before the show. You can return to your table during the interval for desserts and coffee just ask a member of staff.
