This August we will be speaking to leading film industry experts based in the South West.
With support from Film Feels Connected and BFI Film Audience Network, we are delighted to present our programme of online interviews with local filmmakers, designed to inspire young people looking at a career in film and to discover what happens behind the scenes.

In the interview, we discuss Mia’s route into film, her career to date, career highs and lows and what advice she has for young people looking at starting a career in the industry. We also ask Mia to sum up the experience of receiving an Oscar and two BAFTA awards in one word or phrase, and discuss how Mia is actively supporting other women within the film industry.
