Name A Seat at The Octagon Theatre

Name A Seat at The Octagon Theatre

From remembering a loved one to commemorating a special occasion, naming a seat makes a perfect surprise gift!

The OctagonTheatre has 622 seats and its intimate size and friendly feel is loved by audiences and performers alike. The time has come to replace the seats in the auditorium using funds from the ticket levy and the fundraising efforts of The Foyer Club charity. We need your help to complete the funding for the project and so we are offering you the opportunity to 'Name A Seat' with a personalised plaque.

Each seat costs between £150 to £250 to name and when naming a seat…

  • Your seat is yours for perpetuity
  • You can personalise your plaque with an inscription of up to 70 characters
  • You can visit your seat plaque for a photo opportunity
  • You’ll receive a commemorative certificate

To name a seat simply, complete our Name A Seat form by clicking the red button on our Name A Seat webpage and return it to us: Name A Seat, The Octagon Theatre, Hendford, Yeovil, Somerset, BA20 1UX, with payment. Payment can be accepted as cash, cheque or (over the phone) by card.

Above: Paul Zerdin (right) began his life in pantomime here at The Octagon Theatre in the 1993 production of Cinderella. He has lasting memories of his fantastic time within this, his first pantomime production, and so The Octagon Theatre has become a special place for the Ventriloquist – who has since won the tenth season of America’s Got Talent leading to his very own Las Vegas residency. He is delighted to be supporting The Octagon’s Name a Seat campaign.
