Welcome to our spectacular Spring / Summer season at the Octagon!

Having joined The Octagon Team in July 2009 as the new Arts and Entertainment Manager, I've enjoyed a very busy first few months and am very grateful to all the staff, our terrific Foyer Club, members of the local amateur companies and our loyal patrons who have made me feel so very welcome. The staff and I have lots of ideas and plans for The Octagon and we are working hard to continue developing the venue as a place where entertainment, inspiration and creativity can be found everyday. As Somerset's Premier Theatre we aim for your Octagon to be a centre of excellence for the Arts and Entertainment.

Our new season is packed with famous faces making their Octagon 'debut' and we are delighted to welcome back some familiar friends who are set to wow our audiences once again. 

We are absolutely thrilled to be welcoming one of Britain's most popular and distinguished opera and musical stars - Lesley Garrett. The splendid Hayley Westenraheadlines a special concert in support of The Royal British Legion, Elin Manahan Thomasperforms with Sinfonia Classicaand Folk's leading lady Kate Rusbyis back by popular demand. The magnificent Elkie Brooksjoins us and Loose Women's Jane McDonaldwill bring a magical evening of music and laughter.
