Two local charities, The Foyer Club and Yeovil District Hospital’s Breast Cancer Unit Appeal yesterday received cheques totalling more than £9,000.
A bucket collection, organised by The Octagon Theatre, was carried out through the run of the festive pantomime Mother Goose and will help support two vital charities in Yeovil.
Arts & Entertainment Venues Manager, Adam Burgan, and Marketing Manager, Martin Hacker were delighted to present the cheques to Sonia from Yeovil Hospital Charity and Theresa from The Foyer Club. The amount raised in total was £9,010.06.
We are very grateful to our pantomime patrons who gave so generously over the festive period to support these fantastic charities.
