Westlands to Host its First Ever Country Music Festival!

You may think of Westlands Entertainment Venue as the host to some of the town’s most popular events including Yeovil Literary Festival and Yeovil Beer & Cider Festival, to name a couple. However, on Saturday 28th March, the venue will hold Country West Fest, it’s first ever dedicated country music festival.

Country West Fest brings together a stellar line up of UK-based original Country artists across two stages. From heartfelt ballads to upbeat anthems, audiences will be able to enjoy the best of modern and classic country music in a fun and friendly all-day festival atmosphere.

Headlining the festival is Kezia Gill, with her brand-new album All On Red out now, and fresh from signing with Snakefarm Records, she’s guaranteed to take things up a gear. Having been crowned AMA UK Live Act of the Year in 2025, Kezia continues to prove why she’s one of the most exciting live performers in the UK country and Americana scene.

Alongside Kezia, we will see Wood Burnt Red take to the Main Stage, a UK based four-piece band making waves with their electrifying blend of southern rock grit and country soul. With a sound that’s unapologetically bold with searing guitar riffs and powerful harmonies, these four are bound to get the crowd cheering for more.

The Acoustic Stage will welcome folk musical duo Elizabeth & Jameson. With both artists coming from backgrounds in traditional folk and folk-pop rock, their combined influences create a stunning folk-roots sound. Their original songs are rich in emotion, with storytelling at the heart of their lyrics, their tight harmonies are sure to leave audiences mesmerised. 2025 saw the release of their second studio album Way Out West which was followed by a UK-wide tour – don’t miss the chance to see them live here in Yeovil at Country West Fest.

The festival will open at 12pm and culminate in a special Country music DJ set from Frazer Mitchell, running through to midnight. A firm Westlands favourite, Frazer has appeared at many events held at the venue – most recently headlining Yeovil Beer & Cider Festival 2025. Frazer always guarantees to pull a crowd, so be sure to catch him on the Main Stage.
