Cinderella Acrostic Poems by visiting Somerset Primary Schools

Five local schools took part in an activity that helped enhance their school trip to watch the pantomime, Cinderella, here at Westlands this December.

As part of our Creative Learning and Education work funded through our National Portfolio Organisation status by Arts Council England, we gave local schools an opportunity to take part in an ‘in school’ Literacy task with links to Drama, PSHE, the love of reading and Literacy.

Children were asked to submit an Acrostic poem, using a character from Cinderella, and include an illustration.

Five schools took part in the activity with teachers selecting a range of work that have been turned into online books.
