This winter, we’re inviting young people aged 7–16 to take centre stage in a whirlwind day of creativity, laughter, and performance!

Led by our team of professional theatre-makers, participants will devise, rehearse, and perform their very own pantomime in just one day — complete with singing, dancing, acting, and classic panto humour!

• Work with a musical director, choreographer, and theatre director
• Create original scenes and characters
• Learn routines and songs
• Perform to family and friends by the end of the day!

We’ll also be giving participants a behind-the-scenes peek at Westlands’ professional pantomime Beauty and the Beast — including a backstage tour and a look at the dazzling costumes and wigs!

Organised by the Arts Engagement & Outreach team at the Octagon Theatre & Westlands Entertainment Venue, this is more than just a day of fun — it’s a chance for young people to find their voice, build confidence, and become bold young artists.
